New Year's Eve 2016

Today we had a party to celebrate New Year's down at Kris's house. My dad, Kris, Cade, Maddie, Eric, Heather, the twins, and Jackson and I were all there. It made for a good time! We had steaks and other yummy food and just hung out all together. We were all watching Impractical Jokers. If you haven't seen it, you should. It's HILARIOUS. No surprise here... but I only managed to get pictures with the twins, haha. They seem to be my main source of entertainment anytime they're around. Aren't they cute??? 2016 has been so good and so hard in so many ways. I am excited to see all that 2017 has to offer!

I just about die when I saw Hadley in this adorable hat!

Easton is always such a cheeser!

They got these baby cell phones for Christmas and NEVER will put them down, haha.

I sure love this little munchkin!

A Fun Friday

This Friday I was surprised at work to find out that we were closing early! It meant I was going home at 12:00 pm instead of 4:00 pm. I wasn't quite sure what to do with all of my time... so I decided to go and visit my sister Heather and her cute twins! It was well worth the trip. I just hung out with them for a  little while and then headed home. I would've stayed longer, but my car was in the shop. I had Jackson's car which meant he had no ride home, haha. My car has been having troubles since the accident. On my way home from visiting the twins, I got a call from Jackson saying they hadn't been able to figure out what was wrong. They said we could come and pick it up since they wouldn't be working on it over New Years. I picked Jackson up from work and to our surprise, we received another phone call saying they had ran one last test and figured out what was wrong. Hooray! Apparently, after the accident, the brake sensor was messed up. So as I was driving, my car was telling itself that I was braking even though I really wasn't. So it would cut the gas and decelerate my car. However, they got it all fixed in just a few minutes and it's been running great since!

They love these little people they're holding. They won't put them down. Especially Hadley!

I could seriously play with these guys ALL DAY and never get tired of it.

Just A Little Trim

Jackson came to my school tonight and I gave him a good trim and got him looking sharp. It's always so fun when he comes. He has a way of making me relax and have a good time all at once. I wish he could be there every night. I have really enjoyed doing hair so far.

Look at this handsome guy.

Get Rid of Those Greys

My mom came in for a color tonight. It was my first appointment I did all by myself. I was really nervous but thankfully with it being my mom, I knew it would all be alright. I told her now that I do hair, she'll never have to have grey again!

It turned out pretty good, don't ya think?

There's A First For Everything

Tell me this isn't the greatest... Jackson went and got his FIRST pedicure with me tonight, ha ha ha! His heels have been tearing up our sheets. We are on the 3rd set. So finally I said, that's enough, you're coming with me. Other than it tickling his feet, he said it was actually pretty enjoyable. I never would have thought!

Let's Get Together

Heather and Eric decided to come and visit with the twins tonight. It is always so fun to have them over. Now that they are crawling, it definitely takes a lot more energy! David and Megan ended up coming over as well. I baked some cookies and we all just talked and played. It made for a good time. I'll let the overload of pictures do most of the talking. Hadley and Easton are too cute not to post loads of pictures. 😊

Core Party

We had our CORE party tonight. There was food, games, etc. to celebrate us all passing and moving onto the next stage. We had drawn names the first week of school. For whoever we got, we had to buy a present that reminded us of them. My teacher, Puck, drew my name. He got me these fun Harry Potter things since I'm a total Harry Potter geek/fan. I am feeling all sorts of emotions. On one hand, so excited to be done with core. On the other, so nervous to finally be out on the floor taking appointments. Change is always so bittersweet.
